Facilitated by Nova Scholar Sara Warber and her Mutual Reawakening Collaborative, Thrive! Healthy People • Healthy Planet features artwork by national and international photographers representing the essentials of health in nine areas: air, water, food, shelter, energy, community, safety, biodiversity, and purpose.
This exhibition asks viewers to appreciate the different dimensions of these essentials and encourages them to reflect on how their relationship with nature impacts them physically and emotionally.
Through this photography, a nature sounds installation, companion three-dimensional displays, and web-based resources individuals and communities are invited to consider how they might act for their own health and the health of the planet.
The Nova Institute is proud to support this exhibit alongside University of Michigan (U-M) Department of Family Medicine, the U-M Museum of Natural History, and Gifts of the Arts Program at Michigan Medicine. See Thrive! Healthy People, Healthy Planet in-person or online from June 12 – August 25, 2023.
